The present invention is an improved release coating for use on a variety of elastomeric structures, such as printer rollers (10) and belts. The coatingof the present invention is a thin expanded polytetrafluorethylene skin (18) that has a porous surface (20) attached to a substratum and an impermeable surface (22) exposed as the contact surface. This use of dual surfaces on a single thincoating provides both an excellent bond to substratum materials, such as a silicone elastomer layer, as well as being highly wear resistant and resistant to chemical attack.

L'invention concerne un revêtement de décollement amélioré destiné à être utilisé sur diverses structures élastomères telles que des rouleaux d'impression (10) et des courroies. Le revêtement de l'invention est constitué d'une peau mince en polytrétrafluoroéthylène expansé (18) présentant une surface poreuse (20) fixée à un substrat et une surface imperméable (22) exposée faisant office de surface de contact.
