The invention concerns monomers corresponding to formula: Z´2?C(CWX(CY´2?)´n?CN, wherein: X represents an oxygen atom or no atom; Z and Y represent a hydrogen or fluorine atom; W represents a hydrogen or fluorine atom or a CF´3? group; and n is a natural integer between 0 an 10 inclusively. Said monomers enable by means of novel copolymerisation and crosslinking methods to prepare fluorosulphonated nitrile elastomers having very low glass transition temperatures (T´g?).

Monom~res r~pondant ~ la formule Z~2C=CWX(CY~2)~nCN dans laquelle X repr~sente un atome d'oxyg~ne ou aucun atome, Z et Y repr~sentent un atome d'hydrog~ne ou de fluor, W repr~sente un atome d'hydrog~ne ou de fluor ou un groupement CF~3; et n est un nombre entier naturel entre 0 et 10 inclus. Ces monom~res permettent gr~ce ~ des proc~d~s orignaux de copolym~risation et r~ticulation de pr~parer des ~lastom~res nitriles fluorosulfon~s pr~sentant de tr~s faibles temp~ratures de transition vitreuse (T~g).
