A diaphragm type of flush valve for use with toilet devices such as urinals and water closets includes a body with an inlet and an outlet and there is a valve seat therebetween and a valve member movable to a closing position on the valve seat. The valve member includes a diaphragm which is peripherally attached to the body. There is a pressure chamber above the diaphragm for holding the valve member on its valve seat and there is a filter and a bypass orifice connecting the inlet and the pressure chamber. The filter includes a filter ring positioned beneath the diaphragm and adjacent the outer periphery thereof. The filter ring and the diaphragm are held in a fixed position relative to each other. The filter ring has a plurality of outwardly directed circumferentially spaced filter grooves. There is a seal ring between the filter ring and the body and facing the grooves. A peripheral chamber is bounded by the seal ring, the filter ring and the body, with water reaching the peripheral chamber by passing through the filter ring grooves. There is an orifice connecting the peripheral chamber and the pressure chamber.
La présente invention a pour objet un robinet de chasse à membrane destiné à être utilisé dans les appareils sanitaires tels les urinoirs et les cabinets d'aisance; celui-ci est constitué d'un corps comportant un orifice d'entrée et un orifice de sortie, un siège de soupape avec obturateur, disposés en interposition entre les deux orifices, permettant ou interdisant le passage de liquide. L'organe de robinetterie comporte une membrane qui est retenue par sa périphérie au corps de l'appareil. Une chambre de pression, qui est aménagée au-dessus de la membrane, maintient l'obturateur en place sur son siège; un filtre pourvu d'une lumière de dérivation établit la communication entre l'orifice d'entrée et la chambre de pression. Le filtre en question comporte un anneau de filtration qui est positionné sous la membrane et à la périphérie extérieure de celle-ci. L'anneau de filtration et la membrane sont maintenus dans des positions fixes l'un par rapport à l'autre. L'anneau de filtration comporte une pluralité de rainures de filtration orientées vers l'extérieur et pratiquées en espacement à la circonférence. Une bague d'étanchéité est disposée entre l'anneau de filtration et le corps et orientée face aux rainures. Une chambre périphérique est comprise entre la bague d'étanchéité, l'anneau de filtration et le corps de l'appareil, l'eau parvenant à la chambre périphérique en passant à travers les rainures de l'anneau de filtration. Un orifice établit la communication entre la chambre périphérique et la chambre de pression.
