Traps (10) are disclosed for controlling flying insects such as wasps. The traps are pre-packaged with attracting liquid (40) prior to sale, and then sealed with a peel-off film (50) in a manner that prevents leakage prior to use. When the trap is about to be used, the peel-off film is removed to expose both a trap entry and a pivotable stand (IS) . A rain/sun shield (14) is then mounted on the stand, preferably with the upper portion of the stand projecting through the shield to form part of a hanger.

L'invention concerne des pièges (10) utiles pour lutter contre les insectes volants tels que les guêpes. Avant d'être mis en vente, les pièges sont préalablement conditionnés avec un liquide attirant (40), et ensuite scellés à l'aide d'un film pelable (50) afin de prévenir toute fuite avant leur utilisation. Quand le piège est sur le point d'être utilisé, on enlève le film pelable pour exposer l'entrée du piège et une tige pivotante (16). Un écran contre la pluie/le soleil (14) est ensuite monté sur la tige, la partie supérieure de celle-ci se déployant de préférence à travers l'écran pour former une partie d'un élément de suspension.
