A B S T R A C T FLYSLAG TREATMENT A process for the treatment of flyslag for example from the gasification of coal. The process comprises the steps of mixing of the flyslag with a cementitious material, a composition capable of converting sulfides in the flyslag at least to sulphur, and an aqueous waste stream from the gasification of coal, in specified proportions.
