FLYWHEEL SPECIALLY USED FOR SPORTING GOODS & THE METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A flywheel specially used for sporting goods and the the method of making the same, mainly comprising of an I-shaped body, a metal rim, two side covers and a shaft; wherein the I-shaped body is cast into shape from a mixture of metal filings (or metal powder) and concrete which are mixed with each other in a certain ratio, and has a thru-hole at the center thereof; the metal rim in proper thickness is made to have an inner diameter slightly larger than the outer diameter of the body for a tight fit around the outer periphery of such body; each of the two side covers is formed into a shape corresponding to the section at either side of the body, and has a thru-hole at the center thereof, so that these side covers cab be fitted to the body at both sides thereof; the shaft is put though said corresponding thru-holes of the body and side covers for being kept in place therein by welding; characterized in that the I-shaped body is able to replace conventional ones made by 100% metal materials, so as to save the production cost with higher manufacturing efficiency and quality.
