A foamed body for continuously supplying a foaming agent to a molten metal is disclosed, the foamed body includes a strip- or rod-shaped matrix made of the same material as the molten metal to form foamed metals, and a foaming agent injected into an injector formed in the matrix lengthwise. Therefore, the present invention can be effectively used for producing qualified foamed metals by supplying the foaming agent while the matrix is melted by supplying the foamed body to the molten metal.

L'invention concerne une mousse servant à alimenter en continu du métal en fusion en agent moussant. Cette mousse est composée d'un matériau de base sous forme de bande ou de baguette constitué pratiquement du même métal que le métal en fusion afin de créer une mousse métallique et d'un agent moussant contenu dans une partie de remplissage située dans le sens de la longueur du matériau de base. L'invention permet de préparer une mousse métallique de qualité élevée par apport d'un agent moussant simultanément à la fusion d'un matériau de base par l'intermédiaire de l'alimentation du métal en fusion en agent moussant.
