The present invention provides methods of producing polyurethane and polyisocyanurate foams comprising reacting and foaming a mixture of ingredients that react to form a polyurethane or polyisocyanurate foam in the presence of a catalyst solution comprising a catalyst solvent and about 60 wt% or less, based on the total weight of the catalyst solution, of alkali metal salt. Also provided are foams produced via the methods of the present invention.

L'invention concerne des procédés de production de mousses de polyuréthanne et de polyisocyanate, qui consistent à faire réagir et à procéder au moussage d'un mélange d'ingrédients réagissant pour former une mousse de polyisocyanurate ou de polyuréthanne, en présence d'une solution catalytique comprenant un solvant de catalyseur et environ au plus 60 % en poids, par rapport au poids total de la solution catalytique, d'un sel de métal alcalin. L'invention porte également sur des mousses produites par les procédés de l'invention.
