FOAM CONTROL PROCESS FOR HIGHLY ACIDIC AQUEOUS SYSTEMS ABSTRACT A process for controlling foaming in highly acidic aqueous systems using a silicone foam control agent is disclosed. The foam control agent consists essentially of (A) a dimethylpolysiloxane gum having a viscosity greater than about 150,000 Poise at 25°C., (B) a non-ionic surfactant, (C) a siloxane copolymer dispersing agent and, optionally, (D) water.
