FOAM MEDICAL CAST Abstract of Disclosure A foam medical cast is formed by dispensing a bead of a pressurized polyurethane prepolymer composition onto a bandage strip making a cast preform. The dispensed prepolymer composition is allowed to expand and foam under ambient conditions, and the resultant preform is wrapped over an undergarment disposed on a human body part to be immobilized. The undergarment is premoistened and the wrapped cast preforms are moistened in order to activate the prepolymer composition. The cast is then allowed to cure to a rigid foam material.
