ABSTRACT The present invention concerns a strip of impregnated and compressed foam material with delayed restoration which is rolled up into a roll (2), preferably for purposes of sealing, and proposes for purposes in particular of an im- proved sealing, that the broad side of the roll (2) be pro- vided with a liquid-impermeable layer (7) which adheres to the flank sides of the strip and which has an extensibility corresponding to the amount of restoration and has longitudi- nally a spiral-shaped separation line (L) corresponding to the strip-winding-joint (8).
