The invention relates to a tap for removing liquid from a container, said tap comprising a plastic sleeve (10) in which a piston (12) is guided and which has a through opening (28) for the liquid. A hood is used as a foam restrictor, said hood being placed upstream of the through opening (28), on the sleeve (10), such that it covers the through opening (28). Said hood closes a labyrinth channel (36) with the sleeve, the channel being open towards the inside of the container on one end and ending in the through opening (28) on the other end.
