A foamable two-component composition is disclosed, wherein each of the components contains a silicone compound such as polysiloxane and a solvent which under pressure conditions is in liquid form and which upon release of the pressure forms a blowing gas which, when the two components are brought together, causes foaming and the formation of a stable foam.
