FOAMABLE SILICONE RUBBER COMPOSITION ABSTRACT A foamable silicone rubber composition is disclosed that evolves neither toxic gas nor hydrogen, that does not suffer from inhibition of its cure to give silicone rubber, and that cures with time to yield a silicone rubber foam containing uniform, microscopic cells. Said silicone rubber composition comprises: (A) 100 weight parts thermosetting liquid silicone rubber composition, and (B) 0.1 to 30 weight parts thermally expansible hollow plastic microparticles.
