Disclosed are bowing agent compositions, foamable compositions, foams, foaming methods and/or foamed articles comprising one or more C2 to C6 fluoroalkenes, more preferably one or more C3 to C5 fluoroalkenes, and even more preferably one or more compounds having Formula I as follows: XCF2R3-z (I) where X is a C1, C2, C3, C4, or C5 unsaturated, substituted or unsubstituted radical, each R is independently Cl, F, Br, I or H, and z is 1 to 3, it generally being preferred that the fluoroalkene of the present invention has at least four (4) halogen substituents, at least three of which are F and even more preferably none of which are Br.
L'invention concerne des compositions d'agents moussants, des compositions expansibles, des mousses, des procédés de moussage et/ou des articles expansés qui comprennent un ou plusieurs fluoroalcènes en C2 à C6, de manière davantage préférée un ou plusieurs fluoroalcènes en C3 à C5, et de manière encore davantage préférée un ou plusieurs composés de formule (I) : XCFzR3-z (I) dans laquelle X représente un radical insaturé, substitué ou non substitué en C1, C2, C3, C4 ou C5, chaque R représentant indépendamment Cl, F, Br, I ou H, et z représentant 1 à 3. En général, le fluoroalcène selon la présente invention contient de préférence au moins quatre (4) substituants halogènes, dont au moins trois sont F, et de manière encore davantage préférée, dont aucun n'est Br.
