A seat assembly is provided for supporting an occupant above a floor in an automotive vehicle. The seat assembly includes a seat cushion that is adapted to be pivotally coupled to the floor for movement between a raised position spaced above the floor and a lowered position adjacent the floor. The seat assembly also includes a seat back that is adapted to be pivotally coupled to the floor for movement between an upright position and a folded position overlying the seat cushion. At least one drive link extends between a first end pivotally coupled to the seat back and a second end pivotally and slidably coupled to the seat cushion for automatically moving the seat cushion between the raised and lowered positions in response to pivoting the seat back between the upright and folded positions thereby defining a seating position and a stowed position of the seat assembly.
La présente invention concerne un ensemble de siège assurant le support d'un utilisateur au-dessus du plancher dans un véhicule automobile. L'ensemble de siège comporte un coussin de siège apte à être relié en pivotement au plancher pour son déplacement entre une position élevée espacée au-dessus du plancher et une position abaissée adjacente au plancher. L'ensemble de siège comporte également un dossier de siège apte à être relié en pivotement au plancher pour son déplacement entre une position verticale et une position repliée sus-jacente au coussin de siège. Au moins une liaison d'entraînement s'étend entre une première extrémité reliée en pivotement au dossier de siège et une seconde extrémité reliée en pivotement et en coulissement au coussin de siège pour le déplacement automatique du coussin de siège entre les positions élevée et abaissée suite au pivotement du dossier de siège entre les positions verticale et repliée définissant ainsi une position assise et une position rangée de l'ensemble de siège.
