FOLDABLE BARBECUE ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A barbecue mountable in a wall recess as a folded unit having a thickness less than the corresponding dimen- sion of the wall. The barbecue includes a cooking assembly and a sliding hinge mechanism which attaches the assembly to the wall and allows the assembly to be unfolded and moved away from the wall to a position of use. A carrier frame of the cooking assembly supports a removable fuel pan and is fitted with folding parts which carry a detachable rack above the pan.
