ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A bunk bed assembly for home use in which upper and lower bed frames of the assembly are provided and a support is further provided which supports the bed frames so they can be pivoted upward and backward to allow access to the floor space covered by the frames. The bunk bed assembly also utilizes a ladder which serves as support legs for the bed frames when in horizontal position and which can be used to pivot the bed frames. The ladder also pivots relative to the frames so that it folds toward the frames as they are pivoted.
