ABSTRACT A foldable cover for a pickup truck bed is disclosed. The cover has a number of panel sections hinged to each other and adapted to move along rails at either side of the truck bed, near the top of the sidewalls, between a fully extended position and a fully folded position. In the fully folded position, the cover is positioned at the front of the truck bed in a storage box provided with a lid. The cover sections interlock in such a fashion as to provide a seal which is at least somewhat effective in keeping water and debris out of the area under the cover. A locking mechanism is provided to lock the cover, and to lock the tailgate, thereby securing the area under the cover.
