This invention is a mechanism to facilitate the practice and increase the safety of archery. The invention is a foldaway arm that makes it possible to keep a bow string pulled back fully until the shot is made. When the bow string is pulled back, the user can then set the arrow into position, sight down on the target and use the automatic trigger to release the string. The trigger is equipped with a safety lock mechanism to prevent any accidental releases.
