A stand to support an object has a bottom frame (10) and two side frames (20). The side frames (20) are each pivotally attached to opposite ends of the bottom frame (10) with a pair of pivot pins (16). The pairs of pivot pins (16) are located at different heights. A clasp (24) is mounted on each side frame (20) to engage the bottom frame (10). When the clasps (24) are released from the bottom frame (10), the side frames (20) can be pivoted relative to the bottom frame (10). The stand is foldable. Because the side frames (20) are respectively pivotally attached to the bottom frame (10) by pairs of pivot pins (16) at different heights, one of the side frames (20) can overlap the other side frame (20). The size of the stand is reduced. Transporting and storing the stand become more convenient. Fig. 1
