A folder apparatus is provided which includes a first cylinder, having at least a set of first conveyer tapes assigned to its circumference A folding cylinder (14) has a product seizing device (15) assigned thereto which is moved at a product conveying velocity. The product seizing device (15) cooperates with a surface section (25) of the first cylinder (8) during product transfer.
