ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE : This invention proposes an improved foldable baby carriage the seat back of which is inclinable in various position. This baby carriage which is of the type comprising a crosspiece or spider, the ends of which are integral with an equal number of pieces or sleeves, the upper ones sliding on the handles and the lower ones on the front legs of the carriage, and a knob located at the centre with respect to the upper sleeves and connected thereto by means of two tie rods, the arms of said crosspiece thus being moved apart like an "X" or being moved closer to each other by downwardly or upwardly pushing said knob, and the upper sleeves sliding upwardly and the lower ones downwardly or vice-versa thus enabling to shorten or extent in height the baby carriage is characterized in that the spider or crosspieces and the tie rod of the knob are disengaged from the upper pieces or sleeves and indirectly connected thereto by means of two vertical frame members and two units each consisting of one metal strap and a hook, with a spring, entering into one of several holes provided in the strap itself said units being provided to adjust and restrain in various positions the seat-back which is restrained to said straps.
