The invention concerns a folding bicycle comprising a frame (1) including a front part (2) whereon is mounted pivoting a steering rod (12) having a lower end provided with a first wheel (13) and an upper end provided with a handlebar (14), a rear part (4) whereon is mounted a second wheel (26), and a central part (3) whereon are mounted a saddle (6) and a crankset (5) connected to the rear wheel (26) by transmission means (27), such that the saddle, the crankset, the steering rod, the front wheel and the rear wheel are substantially contained in a common plane (P) when the bicycle is unfolded, the frame including means (18, 25) articulating the front part and the rear part to the central part to reduce the bicycle wheelbase associated with means (18, 25) for maintaining at least the front wheel and the rear wheel in said plane (P).
Bicyclette pliable comprenant un cadre (1) qui comporte une partie avant (2) sur laquelle est mont~e pivotante une tige de direction (12) ayant une extr~mit~ inf~rieure pourvue d'une premi~re roue (13) et une extr~mit~ sup~rieure pourvue d'un guidon (14), une partie arri~re (4) sur laquelle est mont~e une seconde roue (26), et une partie centrale (3) sur laquelle sont mont~s une selle (6) et un p~dalier (5) reli~ ~ la roue arri~re (26) par un moyen de transmission (27), de telle mani~re que la selle, le p~dalier, la tige de direction, la roue avant et la roue arri~re soient contenus sensiblement dans un mÚme plan (P) lorsque la bicyclette est dans un ~tat d~pli~, le cadre comprenant des moyens (18, 25) d'articulation de la partie avant et de la partie arri~re ~ la partie centrale pour r~duire un empattement de la bicyclette qui sont associ~s ~ des moyens (18, 25) pour maintenir au moins la roue avant et la roue arri~re dans ledit plan (P).
