ABSTRACT The present invention provides a convertible backpack or back rack which is foldable between an unfolded chair configuration and a folded pack or rack configuration. In the unfolded configuration the seat portion extends partially rearwardly but also mostly forwardly of the axis of pivotal movement between the back portion and the seat portion.
