The invention relates to a clinching press comprising a press tool (52) and a prebending unit (1) to produce a reciprocating movement in a tool holder (14) of a prebend- ing tool (12), said tool holder being articu- lated to a foundation (2). The prebending unit (1) has a pressure rod (50) coupled to the press tool (52) and a knee-joint mecha- nism (28, 30), joined, on the one hand, to a pivot point (36) on the tool holder (14) and on the other hand, to a fixed pivot point (34) on the foundation (2). The pressure roller (45) is freely rotatably mounted at the con- necting point (32) of the links (28, 30). The knee-joint mechanism (28, 30) has a gas pres- sure spring (38, 42) for returning the mech- anism to the starting position shown. The knee-joint mechanism (28, 30) can be moved under the influence of the pressure rod (50), in a countinuous movement from the bent-out position shown to a position bent-out in the opposite direction, the tool holder (14) be ing displaceable along a predetermined path of movement between a starting position, a work position and an end position.
L'invention concerne une presse de rivetage comprenant un outil de pressage (52) et une unité de pré-cintrage (1) pour produire un mouvement alternatif dans un porte-outil (14) d'un outil de pré-cintrage (12), ledit porte-outil étant articulé sur un socle (2). L'unité de pré-cintrage (1) comporte une bielle de compression (50) accouplée à l'outil de pressage (52), et un mécanisme à genouillère (28, 30) relié d'une part à un pivot (36) sur le porte-outil (14) et, d'autre part, à un pivot fixe (34) sur le socle (2). Le cylindre presseur (46) est monté librement rotatif au niveau du point de raccordement (32) des articulations (28-30). Ce mécanisme à genouillère (28, 30) comporte un ressort de pression à gaz (38, 42) permettant son retour à la position de départ représentée. Le mécanisme à genouillère (28, 30) peut être animé, sous l'influence de la bielle de compression (50), d'un mouvement continu entre la position de pliage représentée sur la figure et une position de pliage en sens contraire, le porte-outil (14) se déplaçant sur une trajectoire prédéterminée de mouvement entre une position de départ, une position de travail et une position de fin de course.
