A folding hanger apparatus particularly useful in luggage has two central portions (44, 45) which are hinged together (54) to pivot between an open position and a closed position, and a hook portion having a hinged connection (62) to one of the central portions (44). The hook pivots to a position pressed against clothing (32) to prevent the clothing from sliding off the folded hanger which may be hung on a luggage trolley system (38). When the hanger is in the unfolded position, the hook portion can be pivoted to an extended position to be used to hang the hanger from a conventional closet rod. A pant loop (70) is provided to permit pants (33) and other garments to be suspended from the bottom of the hanger. The pant loop is movable from side to side to permit the loaded hanger to balance when in the unfolded position, and to permit the hanger to pivot to the folded position.
Cette invention se rapporte à un dispositif de type cintre pliant conçu particulièrement pour être utilisé dans une valise. Ce dispositif comporte deux parties centrales (44, 45) reliées entre elles par une charnière (54) qui leur permettent de pivoter entre une position d'ouverture et une position de fermeture, et un crochet relié au moyen d'un lien articulé (62) à l'une des parties centrales (44). Ce crochet pivote jusqu'à une position de compression des vêtements (32) conçue pour empêcher ces derniers de glisser du cintre plié qui peut être suspendu à un système (38) de valise sur roulettes. Lorsque le cintre se trouve en position non pliée, le crochet peut pivoter jusqu'à une position d'extension qui sert à suspendre le cintre à une tringle à cintres classique. Une boucle pour pantalons (70) sert à suspendre des pantalons et autres vêtements nécessitant d'être suspendus par le bas du cintre. Cette boucle pour pantalons (70) peut se déplacer d'un côté à l'autre de manière à assurer l'équilibre du cintre chargé lorsqu'il se trouve en position non pliée et à permettre audit cintre de pivoter jusqu'à adopter sa position pliée.
