Abstract Folding piece of furniture, in particular folding stool, which comprises a seat face and leg pairs arranged laterally of the seat face. The seat face is provided with a means for mounting one of the two leg pairs and for guiding the other leg pair. These means permit an adjustment of the inclination of the seat face with respect to the second leg pair and also permit the collapsible piece of furniture to be folded up into an extremely compact form.
