A folding overhead projector (10) having a stage body (12) housing a fresnel lens (16) on its top surface. The body is thicker on one side to form a lamp enclosure (14). A hinged mirror is provided within the body and a hinged lamp socket within the lamp enclosure. Two pairs of folding legs (24, 26) are hingedly coupled to the body and lamp enclosure and fold out to lower the mirror and lamp and form a collapsible base. The legs tilt the lamp and mirror so that light is reflected by the mirror up through the fresnel lens. Additional pairs of folding legs provide balance. A collapsible bellows (47), a light baffle (25), and the mirror provide a light and airtight enclosure for the lamp and mirror.
Un rétroprojecteur portable pliant (10) comprend un corps d'une platine (12) recevant une lentille de Fresnel (16) à sa surface supérieure. Ce corps est plus épais sur un de ses côtés car il forme une enceinte (14) de lampe. Un miroir articulé est disposé dansle corps et une douille de lampe articulée trouve place dans l'enceinte.
