A folding table (1) with a table top (5) and a pair of breakaway legs (15) supporting the top. A brace member (47) at each end of the table has a leg assembly (7, 9) attached thereto. A top supporting beam (11) extends along the table top between the brace members. The support beam is pivotally mounted to the table top. Each leg assembly has a hinge structure (35) near its top end and a foot structure (24) at its bottom end. The hinge (35) allows the leg (15) to break down and fold inwardly against the table top. A pair of leg braces (81, 83) is attached to the support beam and are moveable with the beam. Each leg brace is removably attached to a corresponding leg by a locking assembly (87). When the leg braces (81, 83) are attached to the leg, they transfer downward force from the table top to the legs at a point below the hinges (35) to keep the legs in the unfolded position. The locking assembly (87) can be disengaged and the leg braces pivoted out of the way to allow the legs to be folded. A wire gallery (13) is removably attached to the leg braces (81, 83) below the table top.
Cette invention concerne une table pliante (1) comprenant un plateau (5) ainsi que deux pieds rabattants (15) qui supportent le plateau. Des systèmes de pieds (7, 9) sont fixés à des entretoises (47) situées à chaque extrémité de la table. Une poutre (11) de support du plateau, montée pivotante sur ce dernier, s'étend sur toute la longueur dudit plateau entre les entrotoises. Chaque système de pieds possède une structure de type charnière (35) à proximité de son extrémité supérieure, ainsi qu'une structure en forme de pied (24) au niveau de son extrémité inférieure. Cette charnière (35) permet au pied (15) de se rabattre et de se replier vers l'intérieur contre le plateau de la table. Deux entretoises de pied (81, 83) sont fixées à la barre de support et se déplacent en même temps que celle-ci. Chaque entrotoise de pied est montée de manière amovible sur un pied correspondant par l'intermédiaire d'un système de verrouillage (87). Lorsqu'elles sont fixées au pied, les entretoises de pied (81, 83) vont effectuer un transfert de force vers le bas, à savoir, depuis le plateau de la table jusqu'aux pieds et en un point situé en dessous des charnières (35), ceci de manière à maintenir les pieds en position dépliée. Le système de verrouillage (87) peut être débloqué de manière à ce que les entretoises de pied libèrent le passage en pivotant et permettent aux pieds de se replier. Une galerie (13) à câbles amovible est fixée aux entretoises des pieds (81, 83) en dessous du plateau de la table.
