A folding tricycle, maximizing the exercise effect by allowing a user to pedal the tricycle while standing up on the pedals, as well as being easy to move and carry by being folded to be of a small size, is disclosed. The folding tricycle has a running unit consisting of a main frame, two front wheels, and a rear wheel. The main frame consists of two frame parts with a first folding part jointing the two frame parts together, thus being foldable at the folding part. The two frame parts respectively have a front wheel shaft housing and a rear wheel support assembly. The tricycle also has a steering unit used for steering the rear wheel. The steering unit has a second folding part, thus being foldable at the second folding part. The tricycle also has a brake unit used for selectively braking the front wheels. In addition, the tricycle has a drive unit used for generating a rotating force and transmitting the rotating force to the front wheels through two front wheel shafts alternately acting as driving and driven shafts. The drive unit is designed to generate the rotating force from the pedals operated by a user standing up with both feet being placed on the two pedals.
On décrit un tricycle pliant qui augmente au maximum l'effet de l'exercice du fait qu'il permet à un utilisateur de pédaler alors qu'il se trouve debout sur les pédales, et qui est de plus facile à déplacer et à transporter lorsqu'il est replié et présente alors une petite taille. Le tricycle pliant comporte une unité de roulement constituée d'un cadre principal, de deux roues avant et d'une roue arrière. Le cadre principal est formé de deux parties de cadre reliées ensemble par une première partie pliante, le tricycle étant ainsi pliable au niveau de la partie pliante. Les deux parties de cadre comprennent respectivement un carter d'arbre de roue avant et un ensemble support de roue arrière. Le tricycle est également pourvu d'une unité de direction qui sert à diriger la roue arrière. L'unité de direction comprend une deuxième partie pliante qui permet de la plier au niveau de ladite deuxième partie pliante. Le tricycle est équipé d'une unité de freinage qui permet de freiner sélectivement les roues avant. De plus, le tricycle comporte une unité de commande qui sert à générer une force de rotation et à transmettre cette force de rotation aux roues avant par l'intermédiaire des deux arbres de roues avant qui opèrent alternativement en tant qu'arbre moteur ou en tant qu'arbre mené. L'unité de commande est conçue pour générer la force de rotation à partir des pédales actionnées par un utilisateur qui se tient debout avec ses deux pieds placés sur les deux pédales.
