ABSTRACT A method and apparatus are described for sizing a stuffed casing food product wherein a novel snubbing ring with a casing convoluting element is provided on the outer peripheral surface of the casing and cooperates with a sizing ring inside the casing to provide a wider range of hold lock force on the casing as it is being stuffed.
