A food processing appliance such as a blender comprises a container (22) and a base (20) housing an electric motor for driving the tool support assembly (2) which comprises a generally conical support (15) which is open inside and flares out to an enlarged peripheral edge part which is removably securable in said opening, the narrow end of the conical support bearing a food processing tool (24). The motor being housed in a compartment (60) in the base spaced up from the bottom of the base. The base comprises, at its bottom, a storage compartment (70) for storing a tool support assembly (2) of the defined type when the assembly is not in use, the storage compartment (70) having a recess for receiving therein a tool support assembly placed with its enlarged part down and with its narrow end up. A movable closure member such as a drawer (71) allows access to or closes the storage compartment (70). In the closed position a part (72) of the closure member (70) is flush with the adjacent parts of the walls of the base (20). When a tool support assembly is stored in compartment (70), the axis of the stored tool support assembly is laterally offset from the motor axis and the enlarged peripheral edge part of a stored tool support assembly extends under the bottom of the motor. A recess is arranged under the motor compartment (70) and over the drawer (71), arranged so that when the drawer (71) is in its pushed-in position, the tool support assembly is accommodated partly in this recess and partly in or under a peripheral cavity (61) surrounding the motor compartment (70).
La présente invention concerne un robot de cuisine tel qu'un mixer à bol-mixer comprenant un récipient (22) et une base (20) dans laquelle se trouve un moteur électrique destiné à entraîner un ensemble support d'outils (2) qui comprend un support de forme générale conique (15) qui est ouvert à l'intérieur et s'évase vers une zone périphérique agrandie qui peut se fixer amovible dans ladite ouverture, l'extrémité étroite du support conique supportant un outil de robot de cuisine (24). Le moteur est logé dans un compartiment (60) dans la base verticalement à une certaine distance du fond de la base. Le fond de la base comprend un compartiment de rangement (70) servant au rangement d'un ensemble support d'outils (2) du type défini lorsque l'ensemble n'est pas en service, le compartiment de rangement (70) comprenant un évidement prévu pour accueillir un ensemble support d'outils la partie large venant vers le bas et la partie étroite vers le haut. Un organe de fermeture mobile tel qu'un tiroir (71) donne accès au compartiment de rangement (70) ou le ferme. En position fermée, une partie (72) de l'élément de fermeture (70) vient en affleurement avec les parties adjacentes des parois de la base (20). Lorsqu'un ensemble support à outils est rangé dans le compartiment (70), l'axe de l'ensemble support à outils rangé est latéralement décalé de l'axe du moteur, et le bord périphérique élargi de l'ensemble support à outils rangé vient en dessous du moteur. Un évidement est ménagé sous le compartiment du moteur (70) et au-dessus du tiroir (71), et ce, de façon que lorsque le tiroir (71) est repoussé, l'ensemble support à outils est reçu en partie dans l'évidement, et en partie à l'intérieur ou en dessous d'une cavité périphérique (61) entourant le compartiment du moteur (70).
