FOOD PROCESSOR HAVING VEGETABLE PEELER ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The specification discloses a food processor having a vegetable peeler unit comprising a power unit including a drive shaft rotatable in one direction, a container removably mounted on the power unit, a driven shaft having one end adapted to engage the drive shaft when in use, and a concave peeler disc rigidly mounted on the other end of the driven shaft for rotation together therewith. The concave peeler disc is inclined a predetermined angle relative to the longitudinal axis of the driven shaft so that, during the rotation of the drive shaft, the peeling disc can undergo a wobbling motion while simultaneously rotating about the drive shaft. The peeler disc has a plurality of scraping openings defined there- in, which openings scuff or scrape a thin surface layer of a vegetable, for example, a potato, during the rotation thereof. In this way, very efficient peeling of the vegetable can be obtained.
