ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A novel food production apparatus is provided herein. It includes: a supporting elongated frame structure with a continuous conveyor system mounted longitudinally therewithin and means for intermittently moving the conveyor longitudinally along the supporting elongated frame structure. A dough sheet loading and unloading mechanism of a specified structure is at the front end of the conveyor. At least one foodstuff loading mechanism is operable to load foodstuff onto discrete regions of the dough sheet. A dough-folding mechanism of a specified structure follows the foodstuff loading mechanism. A rolling mechanism of a specified structure follows the dough-folding mechanism. Means are provided for discharging the product from the conveyor. Finally means are provided to synchronize the forward intermittent movement of the conveyor with the sequential operation of the mechanism at all the operating stations.
