ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The foot massage machine of the present invention includes a seat which vibrates appreciably and on which the user sits while using the machine. The combination of a unique mounting of the vibrating plate and a one- piece shell structure for the body of the machine has proven to be particularly advantageous. The division of the vibratory energy between the seat and the foot plate is determined by the stiffness of the two isolators that are used to mount the vibrating plate. A first component of the unbalanced force causes the vibrating plate to pivot about an axis joining the isolators, while the orthogonal component drives portions of the body, and the walls serve the important purpose of telegraphing the vibrations from the base part of the body to the seat. The operation of the electric motor is controlled by a coin-operated timer switch. -16-
