This invention relates to a spineboard and the parts thereof adapted for the ease of use in an aquatic setting. The securement and transport of a person who may have suffered a spinal injury. The spineboard consists of a board that is long and wide enough for an average male to be placed on it, comfortably in a supine position. The board consists, of four sets of parallel longitudinal tracks adapted so that each may receive a strap to encircle and secure a person to the board. The head harness is designed to accompany the board and is removable, it will secure a persons head at two points with two straps The board has a sliding track that is situated between the runners on the underside of the board. This track will slide out and allow rescuers to secure the track to a surface beside the water, thus allowing the board to be positioned in such a way that it facilitates easy placement of spinal injured person from the water. The board consists of a set of parallel wings which are elevated above the board running along the outside of the board. These wings prevent the person from sliding on the board when the board is turned on its side. The board consists of a weight that is secured to the foot of the board before and white the person is placed and secured onto the board after which the weight is removed thus allowing the board to float to the surface of the water.
