FORAGE HARVESTER BLOWER Abstract of the Disclosure A forage harvester blower includes a rotor having disc- shaped carriers mounted at axially spaced locations along the rotor shaft, each carrier defining a plurality of angularly spaced, radially extending seats to which paddle mounts are welded and a plurality of paddles each extending between the carriers and being releasably secured to the mounts. The rotor is located between and rotatably mounted at a pair of blower housing sidewalls, and an opening is provided in each side wall and a series of opening are provided in each disc for permitting air to be drawn into the housing to supplement the volume flow of the blower so that the total "crop" flow is given an adequately high acceleration. Back pressure at the housing outlet is avoided by the provision of an additional air inlet at that location.
