ABSTRACT FORK LIFT A fork lift truck includes a generally U-shaped frame having a pair of hydraulic driven wheels on the front end and a caster on the back end. A mast projects upwardly from the frame and is designed to move between the forward end of the vehicle and a retracted position behind the front wheels. A carriage is mounted on the forward end of the mast and reciprocates upwardly and downwardly on the mast in response to chains connected to a hydraulically driven piston which is mounted on the mast.
