A forked bone plate has a longitudinal shaft (1) with throughbores (4, 5) for receiving fastening screws. Two fork-like prongs (2) are joined to the shaft (1) at an angle .alpha. from 60· to 150· in relation to the longitudinal axis (15) of the shaft (1). The length of the prongs (2) may be individually adjusted, so that the bone plate may be adapted without great difficulty to the various possibilities of use, even during surgery.

Deux dents de fourche (2) coudées d'un angle .alpha. compris entre 60~ et 150~ par rapport à l'axe longitudinal (15) de la tige (1) sont raccordées à la tige (1).
