A formed, filled, and sealed container (100), access port (200, 300, 400, 500) and method for establishing fluid flow from the container to an administrative set is provided. The container (100) is collapsible and has an inlet (120) and an outlet (130). A hollow port (160) is sealed to the container and a perforator inside the port pierces and becomes embedded in the container. Solution in the container is withdrawn into the port. A line (140) attached to the port and an administrative set further establishes flow between the container and the administration set. The port may be operated with a single- hand to establish fluid flow from the container to the administrative set. After the perforator is embedded in the container,a lock on the port prevents the perforator from removal from the container. Activation of the lock produces an audible and/or visible notification.
La présente invention concerne un récipient formé, rempli et scellé, un accès et un procédé permettant d'établir un écoulement de fluide entre ce récipient et un dispositif de transfusion. Ce récipient est compressible et possède une entrée et une sortie. Une borne d'accès creuse est scellée à ce récipient et un perforateur situé à l'intérieur de cette borne d'accès perce et reste confiné dans le récipient. La solution présente dans ce récipient est retirée dans cette borne d'accès. Un tube fixé à cette borne d'accès et un dispositif de transfusion établissent ensuite un écoulement entre ce récipient et le dispositif de transfusion. On peut manipuler la borne d'accès avec une seule main de façon à établir un écoulement de fluide entre le récipient et le dispositif de transfusion. Après confinement du perforateur dans le récipient, une fermeture sur la borne d'accès empêche la perforateur de sortir du récipient. L'actionnement de cette fermeture produit un signal audible et/ou visible.
