Thixoextrusion molding apparatuses and methods are provided. One embodiment of the apparatuses comprises: a container having a first through-hole storing 10 to 30 parts by weight of a semi-solid billet therein and a heater installed outside the first through-hole to maintain the temperature of the semi-solid billet constant; a stem insertable into the first through-hole from the front of the container to pressurize the semi-solid billet in the backward direction; a die ring coupled to the back of the container and having a plurality of coolant inflow/outflow holes to prevent thermal deformation in the circumferential direction; a die body disposed inside the die ring and having a second through-hole, which is in communication with the first through-hole of the container and has a smaller diameter than the first through-hole of the container, through which the semi-solid billet is extruded and a plurality of thermocouple insertion holes for measuring the temperature of the semi- solid billet; a die body support coupled to the back of the die body inside the die ring and having a plurality of coolant inflow/outflow holes so as to change the phase of the extruded semi-solid billet to a solid extrudate; a die balance support held in close contact with the die body support and coupled to the back of the die ring; and a cooling unit coupled to the die balance support to cool the solid extrudate. According to the apparatuses and methods, metals can be molded under a low extrusion pressure, the life of the apparatuses is prolonged, the strength of the metal products is improved, the ignition of the metals is inhibited during processing, the amount of a protective gas used is reduced, and the formation of welding lines is inhibited.
L'invention porte sur des appareils et des procédés de moulage par thixoextrusion. Un mode de réalisation des appareils comprend : un conteneur ayant un premier trou traversant stockant dans celui-ci de 10 à 30 parties en poids d'une billette semi-solide et un élément chauffant installé à l'extérieur du premier trou traversant pour maintenir constante la température de la billette semi-solide ; une tige pouvant être introduite dans le premier trou traversant à partir de l'avant du conteneur pour comprimer la billette semi-solide dans la direction vers l'arrière ; un anneau de matrice couplé à l'arrière du conteneur et ayant une pluralité de trous d'écoulement d'entrée/écoulement de sortie de fluide de refroidissement pour empêcher une déformation thermique dans la direction circonférentielle ; un corps de matrice disposé à l'intérieur de l'anneau de matrice et ayant un second trou traversant, qui est en communication avec le premier trou traversant du conteneur et a un diamètre plus petit que celui du premier trou traversant du conteneur, à travers lequel la billette semi-solide est extrudée, et une pluralité de trous d'introduction de thermocouple pour mesurer la température de la billette semi-solide ; un support de corps de matrice couplé à l'arrière du corps de matrice, dans l'anneau de matrice, et ayant une pluralité de trous d'écoulement d'entrée/d'écoulement de sortie de fluide de refroidissement de façon à changer la phase de la billette semi-solide extrudée, en un extrudat solide ; un support d'équilibrage de matrice maintenu en contact étroit avec le support de corps de matrice et couplé à l'arrière de l'anneau de matrice ; et une unité de refroidissement couplée au support d'équilibrage de matrice pour refroidir l'extrudat solide. Selon les appareils et les procédés de l'invention, des métaux peuvent être moulés sous une pression d'extrusion faible, la durée de vie des appareils est prolongée, la résistance des produits métalliques est améliorée, l'allumage des métaux est empêché durant le traitement, la quantité d'un gaz protecteur utilisé est réduite et la formation de lignes de soudure est empêchée.
