-12- ABSTRACT Forming Or Metal Articles Metal articles are shaped by contacting a metal blank with a diaphragm of plastically deformable metal which may be superplastic aluminium and urging the diaphragm against the blank and against a mould so that the diaphragm and body are deformed. The mould may be male or female. Thin metal articles of complex shape may be made easily and cheaply.
