The object of the invention is a method of forming by hot stamping pieces of complex sheeting, composed of a one-piece element comprising several parts of relatively low thickness arranged in different intersecting planes, proceeding from a blank (6) composed of at least one layer of fibers, which have been pre-impregnated with a thermoplastic resin, in which said preheated blank (6) is formed in an assembly composed of a punch (b) and a die (4), including - a first step, the part of said blank (6) that is to comprise the bottom (2) or analog of the piece to be obtained (1) is pressed against the bottom (4a) of the die (4), then the second phase, the part or parts of the blank (6) comprising the flanged edge or flanged edges (3) of said piece are pressed against the sides of the die, the work piece that has been obtained in this way then being removed from the jig.
L'objet de l'invention est un procédé de formage par estampage à chaud de pièces de tôlerie complexes constituées d'un élément monobloc comportant plusieurs parties d'épaisseur relativement mince agencées dans différents plans sécants, à partir d'un flan (6) constitué d'au moins un pli de fibres pré- imprégnées d'une résine thermoplastique, dans lequel ledit flan (6) préalablement chauffé est mis en forme dans un ensemble comprenant un poinçon (b) et une matrice (4), comportant: - une première étape, la partie dudit flan (6) devant constituer le fond (2) ou analogue de la pièce à obtenir (1) est pressée contre le fond (4a) de la matrice (4), puis - une seconde étape, la ou les parties du flan (6) constituant le au les bords tombés (3) de ladite pièce, sont pressés contre les flancs de la matrice, l'ébauche ainsi obtenue étant ensuite démoulée.
