A system and method for formulating a chemical solution using both volumetric and weight based measurements of components of the chemical solution is disclosed. The components of the chemical solution include water and at least one other component, which may take any form, such as, without limitation, liquid, solid, powder or gaseous form. Formulation of the chemical solution is administered by combining water with the one or more other components at an output port (115), from which this combination is dispensed to a solution storage tank (117). In response to a user's request to formulate a specified amount of the chemical solution, the volume of water provided to the output port is monitored by a flow meter (112) and the weight of the other component(s) provided to the output port is monitored by one or more load cells (114, 116). Based on such monitoring, appropriate amounts of water and the other component(s) are combined together to formulate the specified amount of the chemical solution in the solution storage tank.
L'invention concerne un système et une méthode de formulation d'une solution chimique utilisant des mesures basées sur le volume et le poids des constituants de la solution chimique. Les constituants de la solution chimique comprennent de l'eau et au moins un autre constituant de forme quelconque, telle que, mais pas exclusivement, liquide, solide, poudre ou gaz. La formulation de la solution chimique est administrée par combinaison de l'eau avec un ou plusieurs constituants au niveau d'un orifice de sortie (115), à partir duquel cette combinaison est distribuée à un réservoir de stockage de la solution (117). En réponse à une requête d'un usager demandant la formulation une valeur spécifique de la solution chimique, le volume d'eau fourni au niveau de l'orifice de sortie est contrôlé par un débitmètre (112) et le poids de l'autre (des autres) constituant(s) fourni(s) au niveau de l'orifice de sortie est contrôlé par une ou plusieurs cellules de chargement (114, 116). Sur la base de ce contrôle, des quantités appropriées d'eau et de l'autre (des autres) constituant(s) sont combinées pour formuler la quantité spécifique de la solution chimique dans le réservoir de stockage de la solution.
