The present invention relates to a method of enhancing absorption of a pharmaceutical agent by administering the agent in combination with an inhibitor of BCRP/ABCG2 wherein the amount of the inhibitor is about the critical micelle concentration of the inhibitor or less than the critical micelle concentration. The invention also relates to a formulation suitable for use to enhance absorption of a pharmaceutical agent. The pharmaceutical agent can be a chemotherapeutic agent. The invention also relates to capsules containing the formulation.
La présente invention se rapporte à procédés permettant d'améliorer l'absorption d'un agent pharmaceutique, qui consistent à administrer ledit agent en combinaison avec un inhibiteur de BCRP/ABCG2, la dose de l'inhibiteur étant environ égale à la concentration micellaire critique de l'inhibiteur ou inférieure cette dernière. L'invention a également trait à une préparation pouvant servir à améliorer l'absorption d'un agent pharmaceutique. Ledit agent pharmaceutique peut être un agent chimiothérapeutique. L'invention concerne également des capsules contenant ladite préparation.
