ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A plant growth stimulator formulation comprises water and concentrate solution dissolved therein. The concentrate solution comprises an effective plant growth stimulating amount of 1-triacontanol dissolved in a polar organic solvent. The organic solvent may usefully be acetone. The plant may be selected from the group consisting of sweet corn, field corn, sugar cane, tomatoes, cucumbers and beans. The composition of the invention is useful in stimulating the growth of living plants.
