A composition for addition to a milk or milk-based beverage, the composition including the following components, on a w/w basis (wherein the component amounts total 100%): 1. Silica between about 1% to about 10%. 2. Vegetable oil between about 20% - about 90%; and 3. Polyglycol mix between about 10% - about 90%. The composition allowing control of foaming and frothing in the beverage as a result of carbonation.

L'invention concerne une composition qui sera ajoutée à du lait ou à une boisson à base de lait, cette composition comprenant les composants suivants sur une base w/w (où le total des volumes des composants est 100 %) : 1. Silice entre approximativement 1 % à environ 10 %. 2. Huile végétale entre approximativement 20 % - 90 % ; et 3. Mélange de polyglycol entre approximativement 10 % - 90 %. Cette composition permet de contrôler la production de mousse et le développement de bulles gazeuses dans la boisson produite par la carbonatation.
