Improved formulations for detecting asthma are disclosed. The formulations comprise methacholine or histamine in a dry particulate form wherein the particles are of a respirable size, preferably 2 µm to 5 µm. The dry formulations can be inhaled directly from an inhaler and can be used to detect airway narrowing which is diagnostic of asthma.
La présente invention concerne des formulations améliorées de détection d'asthme. Ces formulations contiennent de la méthacholine ou de l'histamine sous forme particulaire sèche, ces particules étant de taille inhalable, de préférence entre 2 et 5 mu m. Ces formulations sèches peuvent être inhalées directement à partir d'un inhalateur et peuvent être utilisées pour détecter le rétrécissement des voies aériennes, indiquant la présence d'asthme.
