The invention relates to foundry binder systems which contain modified polyisocyanates. The modified polyisocyanates are prepared by reacting a polyisocyanate with a triglyceride of ricinoleic acid. These modified polyisocyanates and a phenolic resole resin are mixed with a foundry aggregate to form a foundry mix which is shaped and cured with an amine curing catalyst.

L'invention concerne des systèmes de liants de fonderie contenant des polyisocyanates modifiés. On prépare les polyisocyanates modifiés en mettant en réaction un polyisocyanate avec un triglycéride d'acide ricinoléique. Ces polyisocyanates modifiés et le résol phénolique sont mélangés à un agrégat de fonderie pour former un mélange de fonderie qui est mis en forme et traité avec un catalyseur de durcissement aminique.
